Our mission at H Bates Funeral Directors & Monumental Masons is to make a difference to those families who are dealing with grief and the loss of a loved one. Having to manage the arrangement of funeral in these circumstances is always trying, but we’re there to help with the burden.

Our job is to sort out all the little details so you can concentrate on what’s important – coming to terms with the death of your loved one and being there for each other as a family.

We can take care of everything including arranging a traditional hearse and pallbearers. We can offer simple funerals from as little as £2200, but can personalise the service around your individual needs and requirements as well.
